Loving My Life – As Is…

This morning, the above phrase, first, ‘loving my life”,
then the last two words, “as is”
simply popped into my head,
and I quickly wrote it down before I might forget it.
Does this happen to you?
Or, you think of something but don’t write it down,
because you think you won’t forget it?
Well, it may work some of the time, and other times,
it goes right out of your head never to be heard from again.

I’ve learned not to take a chance, and grab the nearest pen and paper.
Sometimes I later throw the paper out, more often than not, I keep it,
because I like it, and it’s something I might use, like I’m doing now writing this blog.

It’s possible some people may be living a life that is “perfect” and they wouldn’t change a thing about their life.
However, for most of us, as wonderful as our life may be,
there’s always “more” that we could add, that’s human nature.

The challenge is to fully appreciate, be thankful and grateful
and love my life as is while, at the same time,
be in a state of excited anticipation of what more is possible and flowing to me.
The ‘secret’, I believe, is to become more aware of how I’m feeling
at any given moment.

There’s a difference between feeling disappointed that such-and-such
or so-and-so is not currently part of my life,
and feeling eager anticipation of what more is flowing to me.

As we know, everything is energy and, as Abraham Hicks would say,
it’s all about allowing and aligning our energy with what
we’d like to have/experience, in order for that person/thing/experience
to become tangibly manifested in our life.

We/I say things to more concretely plant it in our own self,
thus this blog is, in a way, mainly for myself and, additionally,
I hope it’s helpful to you as well.

"The future belongs to those who believe
in the beauty of their dreams.”
